Digital Event Production & Talent Development

Festival of Hope - Curious Minds

Enable digital engagement with our festivals, performance and exhibitions.

The Festival of Hope supported and empowered the next generation of creative producers. It was a celebration and exploration of hope and heritage led by young people working in collaboration with museums  around the Nort West of England.

It was part of Curious Minds’ Hope Streets project and was made possible thanks to a grant from National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Kick the Dust programme.

Covid prevented the culmination of three year’s work being showcased in the real world, via a series of festivals and events, as planned.  We were brought in to find a way to connect the festivals, exhibitions and performances with audiences online instead.

We produced and recorded the work across multiple projects and locations.  We managed media delivery and the channels to collate, streamline, premiere and archive the projects and productions across a series of bespoke websites which we created.

The content included film; live streamed punk performances and pop up shop experiences, music and much more.

We produced, project managed and delivered 6 x regional websites/channels which accommodated a variety of  projects and media assets. We mentored young producers and emerging artists.

“In 2020, as part of  our Hope Streets project, we worked with Creative Nation, to develop an online version of our Festival of Hope project due to Covid. With only a rough idea of how to achieve this, they helped us turn it into a reality – exceeding our expectations in a very short timescale.

We found Creative Nation to be meticulously organised, practical yet ambitious, and exceptional at problem-solving and navigating the challenges (and occasional crises) that inevitably arise in complex, time-sensitive projects like these. We are over the moon with the outcomes and would not hesitate to work with the Creative Nation team again in the future.”
