Create a seasonal marketing campaign that delivers #seasons readings.

We were commissioned to create a series of short films and snippets for Penguin Random House’s Christmas social media campaign, for use across the Penguin, Puffin and Ladybird brands.

The campaign was designed to be a showcase for PRH’s roster of talent, as well as to spread some festive cheer in the style of a Secret Santa between authors.  The films enable viewers to learn more about the books, to hear the author’s reasons for gifting their chosen books and for us to see their reactions to their gifts.

Featured authors included John Cleese; Sophie Kinsella, Zoe Sugg, Rick Stein, Sebastian Faulks, Caitlin Moran, Giovanna Fletcher, Malorie Blackman, Colm Tóibín, Simon Mayo, Kevin Bridges, Cathy Cassidy, Graeme Simsion, Nick Hornby and Lee Child.

As the windows of advent calendars across the land started to burst open, the films had already received over 100,000 views online.

An effective social media campaign had been delivered and it’s presents noticed!
